Awards Ceremony
AiScholar · 2026 "AI+ Innovation Youth Scientist Award" Event
I. Background of the Event
Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) is leading the transformation of scientific research and technological innovation. The linear development within single disciplines can no longer support the demands for breakthroughs in future science. Technological innovation has entered a new phase of "cross-boundary integration," with interdisciplinary collaboration becoming a core pathway to chart new blueprints for research. The Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the Implementation of the “AI+” Action (Document No. 11 [2025] of the State Council) emphasizes accelerating the exploration of new AI-driven research paradigms, strengthening the interdisciplinary leading role of AI, and promoting the integrated development of multiple disciplines.
However, a large number of future-oriented AI-driven interdisciplinary research outcomes are underestimated due to the lack of dedicated exhibition platforms. The collaborative links between research forces from different fields have not yet been fully established, and the channels for translating future-oriented results urgently need to be activated. AiScholar, as a professional platform deeply engaged in research services, has been rooted in the research service field for many years and brings together diverse groups from universities, research institutions, and new R&D organizations. To respond to the era’s demand for “interdisciplinary innovation-driven development,” break down disciplinary barriers, advocate for AI+, and tap into the potential value of cross-domain research, AiScholar is organizing the “AiScholar AI+ Innovative Youth Scientist Award” selection event. This initiative aims to recognize every endeavor in interdisciplinary exploration and showcase every innovation integrating AI.
II. Purpose of the Event
(1) To uncover cross-domain innovative achievements: The initiative focuses on AI-driven interdisciplinary and cross-field research outcomes, incentivizing individuals and teams who achieve breakthrough progress in disciplinary integration, and highlighting the scientific value of cross-boundary collaboration.
(2) To establish a cross-domain collaborative ecosystem: The initiative links the entire chain from “basic research – cross-boundary problem-solving – future applications,” promotes deep interactions across various fields, and builds a new research pathway characterized by “resource sharing and collaborative innovation.”
(3) To stimulate diverse innovation vitality: Through authoritative recognition and resource support, the initiative encourages university faculty, researchers, and other scientific scholars to engage in interdisciplinary research, fostering a research environment of “boundaryless innovation.”
(4) To discover emerging research talents: Provide a platform for young scholars under 40 years old for men and under 45 years old for women to showcase their academic achievements and research capabilities, supporting universities, research institutes, and new R&D organizations in continuously identifying newcomers and cultivating outstanding scientific talents.
