Amid the grand blueprint of the 14th Five-Year Plan, innovation has attained unprecedented prominence, emerging as a pivotal driver in advancing the modernization process. The national strategy underscores self-reliance and bolstering science and technology as foundational pillars for national development, in a bid to achieve global technological leadership, address major national priorities, and enhance public welfare. Central to this strategy is the revitalization of the nation through science and education, the cultivation of talent to strengthen the nation, and the propulsion of development through innovation. Under this context, enhancing the innovation system and strengthening scientific and technological strength have become urgent imperatives of our times.
Globally, technology stands as the foremost engine propelling economic and social progress amidst surging waves of innovation. A new era of technological revolution and industrial transformation looms on the horizon, promising breakthroughs of revolutionary magnitude. In this international arena, sustained innovation remains the sole pathway to strength and triumph. China is transitioning from a follower in certain technological domains to a peer or even a leader, demonstrating significant strides forward. Nonetheless, consolidating the foundations of China’s technological innovation remains essential, as disparities in innovation levels persist and, in some cases, widen. Thus, augmenting innovation capabilities and nurturing a conducive innovation ecosystem are pivotal to the nation’s aspiration to be on par with global innovative countries boasting robust scientific and technological strength.
Against this backdrop, the 6th International Academic Exchange Conference on Science and Technology Innovation (IAECST 2024) embraces the theme of “bringing together global wisdom to promote high-quality development,” with a commitment to pooling international innovation talents to foster academic prosperity and drive technological advancement. The conference serves as a premier platform that boosts collaboration between industries, universities, and research institutes (IUR) to showcase significant research achievements in critical domestic technology sectors, including communications, software, new energy, transportation logistics, and mechanical automation. By facilitating the synergistic integration of technological resources, IAECST 2024 endeavors to catalyze collaborative and integrated innovation among IUR, thereby providing robust support for economic and social development, as well as facilitating industrial transformation and upgrading. IAECST 2024 is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou, China, from December 6th to 8th, 2024. The organizing committee enthusiastically anticipates the active participation of experts, scholars, and researchers, collectively advancing technological innovation and pioneering new frontiers in scientific research and academia.
